yölk stool

The concept is based on a dualism idea that functions as seating and a side-table. The name is derived from the shape of the section view; what seems like the yolk of a sunny-side-up egg. Using MUJI’s ready-made cushion; the exact fitting diameter of the stool holds up the cushion to prevent wiggling while seating. The cushion provides seating comfort, but it also can be removed for the side-table purpose. The joint of the stool is screw-free for seamless assembly.
