“CLAMP”

"Clamp" is a 27-inch OLED display that can be mounted on any surface in space. Like the name, the design is inspired by the C-shaped clamp. The best way to integrate and salvage one of OLED's benefits, its lightness and thinness, is to make it adaptable and versatile to changing environments.

The design consists of three parts: the 4mm thin OLED display panel with back ribs for structural enhancement embedded with the high-performance stereo speaker in the anodized gold finishes, the 20ø flexible rod made with aluminum alloy attached to an adjustable C-clamp, and the counterweight marble base.

The most outstanding feature is adjustability. The tentacle-like rod allows you to adjust the desiring viewing position arbitrarily by hand with ease. Therefore, you can rotate, swivel, and tilt for portrait or landscape mode. The rod is flexible yet sturdy for solid positioning, and a built-in gyroscopic level sensor guides you through customizing visual comfort for each individual.

What lifestyle has the object been designed for?

"Clamp" is designed for tight spaces. It's securely placed on the marble base by default and is basically freestanding in any room. The advantage of OLED's lightweight is that it can be portable like a laptop, so you can mount it on the bedside table to enjoy streaming service, and you can use it as a dual display for your workstation or gaming monitor. You can also clamp it on shelves to watch recipe tutorials while cooking in the kitchen and install it on the dining table for socializing. It's also possible to bind on the side of the wall for information display in commercial space.
